TVE vacuum excavation truck
About us

Family-owned. Queensland-built.

Since 1999, the Tipper family has been under South East Queensland — locating, excavating, inspecting, cleaning and repairing, 24 hours a day.

Our story

From family trust to SEQ's underground specialists

TVE started in 1999 as a family business — vacuum excavation and drain cleaning for Queensland's civil and commercial clients. The family trade was formalised on 12 October 2012, when TVE Pty Ltd and the Tipper Family Trust were registered the same day, and since then we have grown into a fully accredited team with a large fleet of mobile service trucks.

We've worked on motorway upgrades, a hospital, an airport, cross-river rail and major stormwater projects — for the contractors Queensland trusts with its biggest jobs. What hasn't changed: family values, hands-on leadership, and a phone that answers at any hour.

  • Family values — a family-owned, family-run operation from front office to fleet.
  • A large mobile fleet — purpose-built jetting/vac combo units, NDD trucks and CCTV inspection vehicles.
  • Accredited operators — certified locators and code-compliant technicians across every service.
